Joan herself is an atheist and nihilist which contrasts with her Clonemother being highly religous and optimistic. Joan doesn't try to live up to her Clonemother's legacy.

Style

Joan dresses in plain Goth lolita-style clothes, she has pink-died hair, black eye shadow, black t-shirt and khaki pants. She primps herself up like a trashy bimbo for the prom, in the series finale when JFK escorts her.
